I'm always on the look out for great ideas, especially for my boys. My girls naturally enjoy trying hand-on activities. My 14 year old daughter is a self-taught knitter, can crochet and sew some, and has even made her own socks! We will start crocheting with my 7 year old, and she has done some looming and simple stitching. I just found this blog and am looking forward to finding new ideas...

- I'm a dedicated wife and mother of 5 amazing kids, trying to live life to the fullest. While my full time job is in the home, I work part-time as a Pediatric/Neonatal Registered Nurse. We follow a relaxed homeschooling style, with Classical and Charlotte Mason influence. Our ultimate goal is to love learning. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading...most of this gets done when I'm on the go or waiting for the kids!
